Christmas in July 2022
The first Friday in July saw us get more use from our Christmas outfits with the addition of a few jackets. Despite the rain and being a little colder than we are used to, we managed to get one and a half squares on the floor for SSD level and one square for Mainstream and Plus. As usual it was fun to see what a half square could make of the movements called for four couples. To go with the theme of the night, Matt called to Christmas songs such as the Aussie Jingle Bells (Rusty Holden Ute), Six White Boomers, Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Feliz Navidad. The hall was adorned with red and green balloons (not leaving with Matt), tinsel and other Christmas decorations. A bottle of wine was the lucky door prize with a large fruit tray as the raffle.
