Spring theme night 2022
On Friday 2nd of September the hall was decorated in flowers for our Spring theme night. It was a good turn out with two squares on the floor for SSD and Mainstream and one square for Plus. Most came dressed in floral or leafy green outfits. Sandy used two different interpretations of 'spring'. Wearing a floral skirt and a metal spring hat decorated with flowers, the ensemble was completed with a necklace and earrings made of metal springs. Matt tried to find songs with a Spring theme or at least a reference to warmth or weather. Some of the songs for the night included, On The Sunny Side Of The Street, Bonfire Heart, Ready For The Times To Get Better and Walking On Sunshine. Supper included some extra treats with wrapped toffees and fancy little cupcakes. After the announcements Sandy read a humorous poem about three wishes granted by a Genie.
