SEWING BEE at Sandy's
12 Ladies and 2 Gents attended. Jo Read and Sandy showed different styles of skirts and Jo provided a pattern for an easy skirt which can be made individual with decoration by the sewer.
Thanks to Jo, Sandy and John.
Another session will be held at Sandy's on 21st March with pattern and fabric cutting.
Sewing will be at Fran's shop on a date to be decided. Fran has offered to provide matching cotton for the skirts. Thank you all for your help. Some members have already made skirts since that afternoon.
AUDITOR
We are finding it difficult to find a new Auditor. Enquiries are still being made. If you know of anyone who may be interested in helping, please let the Committee know.
CLUB HISTORY
Jo Read and Pam are working on compiling the Club History for digital and printed record.
GENERAL NEWS
Jo Read went to Move-it Expo recently to observe the participation of the public and stall holders. She feels that it is better than PCYC Markets and suggests having a stall there next year with a Banner and 3x3 Marquee to define our Club area and with a demonstration on stage.
DIGITAL STORAGE OF REPORTS ETC
Jo Read has been setting up a Digital Storage site to record all Club information to save on storing paper copies of everything in the future. Meeting Reports, Newsletters and other Club information will soon be available on the site.
DISCUSSION NIGHT 27TH MARCH
Please complete a form with your suggestions for the Club management from the entry table.
HEART DANCE 8TH MAY
A Flyer and programme is being worked out. More information on this later. Please keep the date free. Over the many years of holding this Dance, the money contributed has helped people with heart problems to improve their health.
