End of Year Christmas Dance 2025
For the first time, our end of year Christmas Dance was held on a Tuesday, which will continue as our New Mainstream program night in 2026. It was a great atmosphere with the hall decorated, Christmas themed outfits and regular Friday night dancers attending. We had three squares on the floor most of the night with our new learners, with plenty of fun and laughter. Our new 2025 leaners have completed more than 30 of the 50 movements, giving Matt plenty of variety to keep us all dancing on the night. To give our new leaners more dancing time in the new year, we will delay the start of our next leaners class till mid year, with just the one intake of new leaners in 2026. Old Mainstream level dancers will be able to dance the new program in 2026 on Tuesdays and continue with the Old Mainstream program, at least until the QLD State Convention to be held in Deception Bay on the 7th, 8th and 9th of August 2026.
